The Kikorongo Women Community Organisation is a community-led initiative based in western Uganda. We are committed to addressing challenges such as early marriages, poor health, poverty, and lack of education—especially for women and girls. Through different programs, we help our community grow in a peaceful, sustainable, and culturally rich way.
We use local knowledge, traditional music, agriculture, and crafts to make change. We believe that women are the heart of every community, and when you empower a woman, you uplift everyone around her.

A society where women and girls are respected, protected, and empowered to live healthy, educated, and meaningful lives.
Mission
To promote women's rights, preserve our cultural identity, improve health and education, and provide sustainable economic opportunities through community-driven programs.

Why Us
Why We Exist
In Kikorongo, women face many challenges. But we do not sit back — we act.
Too many girls drop out of school due to early pregnancy or marriage.
Many women lack access to proper health care or information.
Our environment is under threat from climate change.
Our culture and traditions risk being forgotten.
That is why we came together — to be a voice for the voiceless, to give women tools to succeed, and to keep our culture alive for future generations.
